We built SettlementCalcUSA to give everyday Americans a starting point. Not a definitive answer — a starting point. Something to walk into an attorney's office with, so that first consultation is more productive and you know if an offer sounds reasonable or insulting.

Our goal is to make specialized, expert-level information accessible to everyday Americans without requiring them to pay for a consultation just to understand their situation.
How Our Content Is Built and Reviewed
We're transparent about this because it matters: SettlementCalcUSA does not currently have a named licensed attorney on staff reviewing every page. Our calculators' formulas (the multiplier method, per diem method, and comparative-fault mechanics) reflect widely documented, publicly described conventions used in personal injury practice — not a proprietary model, and not a substitute for professional legal judgment. We'd rather tell you plainly what this site is (an educational estimator) and isn't (a law firm or a legal-advice source) than imply credentials we don't have.
